Female Genital Mutilation 1: History

The practice of female genital mutilation/circumcision has dated back to ancient times. Female circumcision has existed for over 4,000-5,000 years originating in a period predating God’s covenant with Abraham to circumcise his people.

Of the eleven opinions put forth in What Roe V Wade Should Have Said, I nod in agreement while reading Jeffrey Rosen's dissenting opinion. In his descriptive criticism of the 1973 landmark, Rosen calls the decision rushed.
