Our forefathers worked tirelessly to attain a certain level of freedom and a guarantee of basic civil rights. The least we as Americans deserve is the ability to exercise those rights. How many towns have stacks of paperwork to fill out if one simply wants to host an event in a public building? What about the right to peaceful assembly?

Everyday of our lives we encounter stress, heartache, and tragedies. How we deal with all those makes a difference to how stable we are mentally and sometimes physically. Everyone has their own ways of relaxing and finding tranquility in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Writing is one way that a person can do to relieve stress and to express the feelings they may be having during a particular point in life.

The ultimate goal of many writers is to be published. This, however, is a difficult goal to accomplish. It becomes even more difficult if it is the only thing your mind is focussed on. In order to achieve the ultimate goal of becoming a published writer, you must first make smaller, more achievable goals.
