Can the Police be Trusted to Do the Job That Taxpayers Pay Them to Do?
by Westbrook, Aug 27, 2008
The police to whom we delegate our individual power in a free and civilized society are obligated to serve us, but to foolishly believe we get our money’s worth all the time is wrong. They often are just as weak and prone to temptation as the offenders they arrest. They often drop the ball, or fail to carry out their duties appropriately, and are not caught or questioned. In some cases, their derelict of duty harms someone so outrageously, that they need a real awakening. Being sued helps them to wake up. It seems to be the only punishment they recognize.

Broken American School Systems and Poor Teaching
by Westbrook, Aug 20, 2008
Why are kids not learning anything to survive and compete in society when they someday have to hit the streets on their own? Who is to blame for the poor teaching in our school systems? Is it right to graduate kids who cannot even do the simplest of math or cannot construct a sentence? Do we give in to the new way to communicate such as text messaging and give up on teaching proper English?

Kids are Not Being Taught to Think
by Westbrook, Aug 11, 2008
We are graduating many idiots from our school systems; the fault falls squarely on the backs of our teachers, and the families who do not demand more from their children and our school systems.

by Westbrook, Aug 11, 2008
Many words in the English language are misused today; many giving way to the common usage of them. Is this something we should accept or do we defend the original usage of them?

THOSE 30 and OVER
by Westbrook, Jul 24, 2008
Those 30 and older were allowed to be kids growing up and were raised by parental guidance and training before media influence, lawyers and government regulating our lives for our own good.
