In many areas, people are changing the earth and causing great harm through pollution. Forests are cut down to produce farmland. But in some places, besides manmade havoc, rain and water make newly exposed soil thin causing soil erosion and rendering, the soil infertile.

Good and bad are relative terms. What is good to one is bad to another. If consuming wine is bad to one, it is very good for another. If eating non-vegetarian food is good to one, it is bad for another. But the basic moral, cultural and traditional standards of a country helps one to know what is good and what is bad.
